I've installed version 0.0.6 using automod for the phpbb version 3.0.12 and it seemed to install ok but doesn't seem to work. I place an image in the topic but it does not show on the topic in the forum. Is it not compatible with the latest version of phpbb or have I done something wrong?

it works with current phpbb3 version.
just check posts of main dev topic and support topics in support area
for general settings and trouble-shooting.

I've gone through the pages and personally didn't find anything relative to my issue other than the advice to clear the board and cache. I have tried this but had no luck. I'm obviously doing something wrong but have no idea what :/

Have you read the DIY Instruction in ModX
and create/configure the named folder via ftp and edit the config-file (right) and load it up again, etc.?

Also note, that the mod only work with real images (jpg, png, etc.) eg. provider.com/image.jpg,
not with provider.com/images.php?file=12345 or similar

I used automod to install the mod which I thought then had nothing to do with MODx hence I have no knowledge of it (I'm a noob, can ya tell? lol) I don't believe I have any restrictions from the server as such but actually not sure how to find out. Just found that file in the '.../store/mods/first_topic__5bpic_5d_on_forum_index_v/root/includes" folder which I'm about to look at... is this the right location for it?
